A mix of family friendly fun and serious interaction design allowing artists and technologists a space to play and respond to real world social systems; the crazy golf course.
Crazy Golf Hack makes its second appearence since FON Festival 2011 at Liverpool Biennial 2012 as part fo the Unexpected Guest at Camp & Furnace before moving on to the next to be confirmed secret venue.
Come and see, test and help build the first 8 holes of the course built by Kevin Hunt based at The Royal Standard, Bob Clough from the HacMan group and Madlab and OFFCUT fabrication studio in Liverpool, based in STATIC .
Part of a new SoundNetwork initiative, Fairground Frameworks supported by Arts Council England
Fairground Frameworks is a space for artists and creative technologists to experiment and make new work in a playful social space inspired by the fun of the fair. Two installations make up Fairground Frameworks, Crazy Golf Hack and Bouncy Castle Development Platform.
It’s part of SoundNetwork’s ongoing mission to negotiate playful, critical and social spaces to support artists making new work.
Curated by artist Ross Dalziel who’s work reveals technological and social spaces and negotiates dialogues and relationships between them.
